Olaplex No.1 Bond Multiplier contains a single active ingredient, Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate, which is used as an additive to lessen damage during chemical processing. Olaplex works by finding single sulfur hydrogen bonds and cross linking them back together to form disulfide bonds before, during and after services. Disulfide bonds are broken via chemical, thermal, and mechanical processes.

Olaplex No.2 Bond Perfector is the second step of the in-salon Olaplex system. It is a bond multiplier, not a conditioning treatment, and is necessary to repair any bonds that may have been damaged during the chemical process.

Directions for Use

Olaplex StandAlone Treatment: Mix 1/2oz (15ml) No.1 with 3oz (90ml) of water in a non-spraying applicator bottle. Take client to shampoo bowl and saturate thoroughly. Process for 5 minutes.

Without rinsing, apply a generous amount of No.2 from roots to ends and comb through thoroughly. Process for a minimum of 10-20 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition. Follow with moisture and protein where applicable. Olaplex is compatible with all colour lines including semi, demi, permanent, direct, high lift, glosses, toners and oil delivery systems.
